Leaked details regarding the various editions of Modern Warfare 2 have seemingly given us an answer. But what about Xbox One and PS4? Will this be the year that Activision moves on from last-gen? Now to be fair, we can probably assume that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. But that was all they announced - no reveal trailer, no platforms, no pre-order Editions, nothing. Earlier this week, Activision announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is releasing on October 28, 2022.
